Advancing Maternal Health Education Series

This series is a six-part, seven-hour training for early-career obstetricians/gynecologists. It includes information about racial disparities in maternal health, racism, and unconscious bias and provides tools to help physicians improve communication, advocate for patients' social needs, and make positive changes in their practice. Instead of traditional lectures, the series uses group discussions, hands-on activities, and guided conversations led by a certified equity trainer. The content is designed for synchronous virtual learning, but with some adjustments, it can also be taught in-person.
